The school I’m needing to transfer to (online) starts subjects much earlier than my current school has taught them, (units 1 in term 3 of year 10) and thus enrolling for term 2 year 11 will have me missing a unit, and term 4 year 12 is left for revision. They’re telling me that I likely won’t be eligible for a QCE due to the units missed, but would still be able to get an ATAR.
I don’t understand how this would work, and they’re not being useful. Are you able to enrol straight into university with no high school certificate if you’ve received an ATAR, and if so; what’s the point of the QCE?
I’ve checked my degree of choice’s (paramedicine/nursing duo at ACU Brisb) page and they don’t show any QCE requirement. Am I misunderstanding them saying if I don’t achieve all the credit points for my QCE I’d still be able to achieve and use my ATAR score? Would I need to continue working on the QCE points post-school before being able to enroll in university?
Cheers!
