i am having trouble creating a research question for chemistry, could anyone help me out, please? 😭
This is my claim, 'Green polymers are better than synthetic polymers'. I am using polylactic acid (PLA) as my green polymer, and either Polyethylene (PE) or High-density polyethylene (HDPE) as my synthetic polymer. My teacher said I have to use at least three factors for the variables in my research question, for example, its reactivity, temperature resistance, chemical properties, strength, etc.

Thanks~~!!!

I am a 2021 grad (ATAR 99.85 and 97/100 in chem)
Just plugging that there is a new team of QCE tutors who exclusively offer high-level Atar Assignment Tutoring. Their goal is to help our students get 100% on all their Internal Assessment tasks. I’ll leave you the link below to look at. Could help with your RQ.

k1k1 bro is trying to promote something that is flopping severely 💀💀.

i don’t understand a single ounce of chemistry so what i might suggest is wrong, but you could formulate your research question as ‘how do green polymers (factors) compared to synthetic polymers?’ it’s a little difficult because you’re claim is really broad by using the term ‘better.’

as i said, i have no chemistry knowledge in my brain, but if you were talking about the organic-ness, you could claim that ‘green polymers are more organic than synthetic polymers’ and your research question could be ‘how are green polymers more organic that synthetic polymers when (factors) are tested?’

but instead of organic (unless i am correct and should pursue a chemistry phd 😒) replace it with the overall thing you intend to measure. hope that makes sense and it wasn’t a lot of yap T-T
