I stuffed up

I am currently studying chemistry unit 3/4 in year 12 and it's probably my hardest subject rn. I don't even know whey i chose it other than for the 'keeping options open' reason and i don't plan on going to med. I'm not sure whether to put the least amount of effort in it or not because i want to put more effort into the subjects i like like lit and ancient but i also don't want to get bad grades for it. What do you guys think? What should i do?

I think still try for chem. Who knows it might be one of your highest ATAR. Im doing chem, apps, health studies, psych and eng so I'm like trying in everything. BUT yes I agree with you chem is the hardest. ALSO IM IN YEAR 11 AND IM STRUGGLING SOOOO....
