I have my methods sac in 5 days, I haven't done anything for it, I've barely done any exercises for methods. I am confident with some, know nothing for others. Im not bad at methods, but right now when I look at a question, I have no idea what to do. I quite literally have done nothing.

Is it possible for me to study and get a decent mark on the sac? If I fail the first sac, which is worth 40% of my overall unit 3 and 4 sac score, can I still get a decent methods study score if I pick up the rest of my sacs?

My SAC is a 3 part application sac on the theme of Barbie. What do you suggest I do?

Kavya changed the title to Methods SAC 1 advice pls .

Kavya It's definitely not ideal to get behind in methods or in any subject for that matter. My advice is to create a list of all the chapters/topics that will be assessed on the SAC and assess your ability on each particular topic. For each topic identify if you know it well, know a bit, or know nothing at all. Given the sense of urgency in the fact that your SAC is in 5 days, start by revising the topics you know nothing at all about. My advice is to do practice questions on these topics, whether that be working through as many textbook questions as possible or doing practice SACs, notes are not beneficial at this point. Start from the basics, assess your knowledge for each question type and then build up from there. Then, if you still have time after this, go on to the topics you know a bit about and do the same. You're going to have to work efficiently and work hard. Assess what is not worth your time to revise and what is.

It's definitely possible to get a decent mark on the SAC, you just have to identify which topics/chapter are crucial/are going to be heavily assessed on. Is your SAC worth 40%? My school's is worth 20%. Either way, if you fail this SAC there is still opportunity for redemption, as you said pick up the rest of your SAC marks and do decent on the exam. The exam has the highest weighting and if you do well on it, it can bring up your SAC scores.

ngl i though i was in a similar boat, but there are numerous resources online and prac sac's i'm sure your teacher has given you or you have access to online, and by going through those you can work out similar type questions there going to ask you and just memorise how to do them and understand them. Going through and doing the chapter tests for each topic too will really help bc by applying the skills your most likely to remember them and learn them faster as the sac is quite soon. There are also a few resources online for sac prep, which are around the level in between the application questions you will be asked and the textbook questions, which are a good stepping stone for learning the content. Also majority of the sac you can figure out with ur CAS so make sure you know how to do everything on it, it'll help heaps. Good luck!!
