Hello girls, I appeared for year 10 entry test this year.
I got a reply last week that school is going to interview first 20 students. As per them I am not in the list of first 20 students.
Do anyone know what are my chances of receiving a second round offer?
I got:
Verbal Reasoning: Above Average
Numerical Reasoning: High Average
Reading Comprehension: Above Average
Mathematics: Superior
Written Expression: Above Average

not that im a girl but i did manage to get in a sehs, i would say you do have a good chance but with such low spots available it may or may not suffice. Perhaps if 1 of ur above's were swapped with a sup you would have a higher chance or if ur high was an above again a higher chance but for now don't lose hope and i would say that you could get in but not guaranteed

    I got my naplan result today and I am exceeding standards in all catagrories. Do you think sending an email with this will help?

      StarOfTheWorld tbh getting all exceedings NAPLAN isn’t a big thing, ik like 5 of my friends got it, I think you’ll put a negative impression on Edutest that you’re a bit needy to get in, I reckon that you let god decide where you go, plus unfortunately there aren’t any seconds round offers in SEHS yr 10, so I think that unfortunately you won’t have a chance at SEHS yr 10. (I’m not degrading you I’m just being realistic)

        StarOfTheWorld thats good for you, ik in yr 7 i got like 3 exceeding and then kinda low for maths and eng bc i was a bit dim back then but I've gotten much better now. BUT don't send them your results, that will come across as needy, unnecessary and a bit rude and there are probably many many more waiting for their results, naplan results have nothing to do with it unless u get offered pd.

            yea idk why but i was best in yr 3 like i got all exceeding and 1 like just below that

              guys for everyone who did get in first round, emails will be sent from the SEHS to our parents for further info on the transition to the new school
