I am currently in year 11 and at school making a dress for my assignment using a pattern from spotlight. Is it possible for me to remake this dress using the same pattern for my HSC major work or do I have to use a different pattern?

So I'm in Year 12 and I feel like yes but you should modify it a certain way like changing length adding drape, sinching etc. The HSC markers won't know that you have done it in Year 11 but your teacher will and will probably mark you down on hsc assessments concerning mtp. def double-check with your teacher tho!
