Hey guys
I am currently in yr 9 and I got subject selection in a week. I want to do VCE next year but not sure what subject to do (also tbh ima person who doesn't hv a fav subject I just study cuz I hv too). What do you guys think would be good VCE subject to do in yr 10 and would it give you a high score?
Thanks in advance

do u know what atar ur aiming for

or any jobs u would find interesting

tbh i leaning towards being an engineer but when i think of the cons i would switch to being a doctor and then i would switch to law so-

hello I know you from jmss

but personally I'm doing physics and spesh early

We kinda have to do spesh because of this seal class that I'm in, but other than that I'm gonna do physics since the other sciences are more time consuming and needs full focus. Accelerating in physics will prolly benefit since its mostly math

YOMAMA my friends who wanna do law are gonna do either legal studies or economics next year

Tbh, if i'm continuing at my current school, i'll be accelerating bio alongside vsl language, but if i get into jmss i'll accelerate vsl language alongside some other subject jmss offers

I'm prolly gonna apply for the methods class in jmss

im thinking of doing chem next yr
is it a good idea to do both general and methods in yr 11 ?

        Hi Livv!
I did VCE Drama in Year 10, and I wasn't the best at it, however I did learn some important stuff by doing it
By doing a VCE subject in Year 10, you'll already be prepared for the workload when you start Year 11, with your other VCE subjects. If you don't do well in the VCE subject, you can always repeat it the next year, and you'll be even more prepared for what you will learn.
I chose to repeat VCE Drama Unit 1 and 2 in Year 11, and I was more prepared as an actor, plus more familiar with the terminology and theory work. I knew friends who did VCE Biology, Chem, Gen or Methods in Year 10, and they benefitted from them too. Talk to your teachers about these subjects, and see what they think

YOMAMA im thinking either physics, chem or bio.
I've heard that it's not the best to accelerate a maths subject since it's better to learn slow and steady, unless your like a math genius or smth
