fyfey44 Hi, I was wondering if it is allowed to use E scientific notation (3E8 instead of 3x108) on VCE exams, specifically Physics and Chemistry, as it is much quicker and easier to use. Thanks!
Justin Hello, When I was a year 12 student; I was told to stick with the x10x format. Personally, from reading multiple VCE physics and chemistry answer reports, none of the examinators have ever used nor endorsed the usage of "E" exponential notation.
