I was just wondering what happens if I skip one exam, without a legitimate excuse. How would it affect the study score?

Koala4444 you'll get a derived exam score for the subject, meaning that VCAA will use your GAT as your exam score. Usually, your GAT score is worse than what you would get if you did the exam, which means you'll get a lower study score than what you'd get if you actually sat the exam.

Furthermore, if you skip an exam without a legitimate excuse you could risk getting a 0 from that exam, because you must give VCAA independent professional evidence which demonstrates why you could not attend the exam.

Just get a zero for the exam
derived exam score would only be for legitimate reasons
In the past people have got derived exam scores for things like being sick or events during the exam (electricity going out)
