Hi, I'm starting at ANU next year and I'm wondering which of the two would be better to stay at.

My brother is staying at Lena Karmel and can transfer his contract to me as he is going on exchange next year. I love the room sizes and comfort, especially as I enjoy my personal time reading, watching movies/tv and playing games. However, the social life appears pretty lackluster compared to the colleges/halls, which is an important factor as I'm moving from Sydney and don't know too many other people.

Bruce Hall would be my go-to if I decide not to stay at Lena Karmel because it's catered, has reasonable room sizes and has a great looking social life, especially yearly musicals which I'm interested in. However, the room size is a bit of an issue as I wouldn't have as much comfort as in Lena Karmel.

What are your thoughts, going from your own experience and others? I plan to get involved in many clubs and societies, so would that be great for my social life or is there a greater benefit from staying at a hall? Has room size mattered to you much?

By the way I'm going to study law and commerce.

Thanks for any help!

If you want to get involved in clubs I would say bruce hall is better.
However, if you were at lena karmel and madean effort for clubs/socialisation it would definitely be possible.
