Honestly, it really doesn't matter which one you pick as long as you fulfill the prerequisites and also have fun throughout the two years. I would advice that you pick your subjects based on your interests.
Biomedicine itself also doesn't require specialist level of math knowledge like engineering does in university, so just choose whichever you think you would enjoy more!
