Ok so this is to everyone doing the Selective Test Next year. I get asked this question alot, but there is no point of asking if there were like angles and stuff for math, just revise like the entire year 8 math book which has vic 2.0 curriculum in Dec and Jan. The reality for math is, that each year it is different, so try do different stuff. In those months, only do 30 min a day. In terms of mocks, I recomend doing hendersons set 1 only, since they get the question directly from the real one. Tution wise there are so many, but from what I have seen, Ed accelarator is probably the best one overall. Their tution is very adapted to the vic selective exam, and has alot of neat activities which other tutions dont offer. James ann is mid, vr and nr is alright. Comprehension is harder for no reason and math is completely off. I wouldnt recomend doing james ann since they also dont update their mocks every year. For Verbal Reasoning honestly so many people say it is just vocab, but thats not true at all. This year, 35-40 of the questions were related to analysing arguements, and for syllogisms, it had it in real-world contexts. There were only like 10 vocab questions, and even those ones werent too hard. For comp honestly just read alot, and using context clues to inference is very important. Another tip, time is the key factor for Math and NR.
