ok so basically I did the test this year. And let me tell you, absolute disaster.
For reading, it was kinda easy to moderate as the question types was kinda confusing, mainly inference and tone heavy which some people may struggle but I didn't. There was data analysis questions which took some time about athelete medals. Some cartoons. for this section practice inference, tone and adapt to Acer styled question wording.
For maths, it was absolutely hardest. AMC questions done in a short time. I guessed most of the questions in it because it's so time consuming. Listen, there is NO worded problems. Only pictures and data analysis heavy questions. It was full of geometry and probability which I couldn't do in a short time. So practice AMC questions in a short time as that's the most similiar to the actual test.
For Verbal it was easy to moderate for me, some easy vocabulary which I can't do, many logic problems " Which 2 statements most support the argument , Which statement is most useless to argument
" . Some anagrams which are very annoying to do like 3 questions. So its half vocab and half logic in total for verbal. So practice these types of questions and improve vocab.
For Quantitative, it was moderate for me, as the questions was worded problems and patterns. But somehow I still got below average. So practice worded problems and patterns, use the free sample vic selective school test quantitative as the some questions which are patterns were very similiar to it.
For Writing, The prompts are "follow me", 'Is courage most important quality of leader?" But since I was dumb, I got below average lol. I chose wrong stance for persuasive. So practice writing in a timed pressure in general, learn techniques for narrative and persuasive.
Overall the test, I got Reading Above average, Verbal average, Math average, Quantitative below average, writing below average. Im not reliable lol but that's my experience.
