hey guyssss!! I just finished year 10, and next year I'm starting 3/4 methods and psych, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to study over the break? should I prioritise revision of the 1/2 content or start learning the new stuff earlier to get an idea of it before classes start? I'm hoping to get 40+ for at least one (but hopefully both) of them and my end of year exam results were the highest in the methods cohort and second highest for my psych class (not cohort). the other subjects I'm starting are specialist, chemistry, english language and literature, and should I do some prep for them as well, or focus solely on the 3/4 subjects? I got into the kld young scholars program so will attend all the revision lectures etc, but they don't start until term holidays. any tips would be greatly appreciated, especially about how much study is required for a 40+!!!!!

Hey, congrats on finishing Year 10 and on your results!

For studying over the break, I’d recommend getting a head start on 3/4 content while also balancing your 1/2 subjects. A few hours a week for each should be enough. For Specialist, Chemistry, and English, a quick review of basic concepts is fine, but focus mainly on Methods and Psych for now.

As for getting a 40+, it’s about consistency, understanding key concepts, and practicing exam questions. Stay smart with your study, and you’ve got this! Best of luck!
