Hi, I've got lots of questions about ATAR as a year 10 student going into year 11. I definitely know I want to be a lawyer it is my dream and I want to go to the best possible uni so I am aiming for an ATAR of 95+. I am in Methods right now and have found it incredibly difficult ( I am failing). On the bright side, my HASS and English subjects are quite strong (high 80s-90s). I am also doing French, which I am quite strong at. I have selected Modern History, Politics & Law, English ATAR, Literature, French, and Mathematics Applications. My original plan was to choose Methods as I know it can benefit your ATAR score and I do truly enjoy it, but obviously I have performed a lot lower than expected and did not meet the prerequisite. Now, I am having a lot of anxiety regarding my choices. I really want to study law and I need a high ATAR, but I am worried that this might not be possible with Apps. I would love some opinions or advice regarding my selections or some insights into what people who are studying law selected during high school. I was wondering if I should stick to applications, drop mathematics as a whole and opt for a science, or push for methods. Is it possible to achieve 95+ with my subjects?
