- The only sort of disadvantage would be (i assume) is if the country you are applying from is competitive as the acer website says that interstate and overseas applicants are grouped into regions in which the 4% rule applies

- Here is some general advice on how to handle the exam:
-In the multiple choice tests, scan all the question in the pages that are open and solve the ones that you can, then move to the next set of pages and repeat. Once you get to the end of the booklet, repeat the process by solving the next set of questions you can.
-When there is 5 minutes left, shade all the unanswered questions with a guess and then answer the unanswered questions.
-There will be a timer going off to indicate that there is 5 minutes left (the invigilator will announce it), so don’t panic when you hear the timer go off for the first time

What school are u applying to?
Alp you can use free resources by studying the test like using online free resources or if you do have a printer you can print some of the SEHS worksheets and replicate a similar format to the test.
Alp it is a bit difficult and i can relate to that but you can study the format of the test and research practice questions and mock tests related to the exam, it will definitely give you an idea of what the test will be like and what it contains.
Don't lose hope many people have gotten into an SEHS school with free resources because even if you made it or not, you wouldn't have anything to lose.
Just try your best and believe in yourself anything is possible.

Hoonie Well they are a little bit but they are still a bit similar to the exam questions
Dosanjh (NHS) Thank youuu btw how was your study routine like since I have started with once or twice a week but now have seen people practice from a year before 
Alp Well I'm soon going to start year 7 but I already have all the knowledge on the test, I would normally use online and physical resources until my tuition starts but because of that I'm just studying the grade 8 curriculum because that's what is mainly on the test
I started in mid year 6 though i know 2 of my friends wanting to get into MHS but they are like average in learning and one of them is going to the same school as me but i study the content every day to gain more knowledge as the questions and topics are included in the test
Alp Well you should pick MHS but if you want to be truly safe pick Suzzanne Cory because it is still a great school and you might maybe get accepted in MHS the choice is yours.
Personally I live close to the city and MHS and Nossal is like 30min away and Suzzanne is about 50min away so pick schools that are closer to you

Alp sorry for the late reply but in your situation they are both pretty good choices. mhs also offers ib and since it is close to your home you don't need to worry about travel. however that being said there will be much less students in mhs than in schs doing ib, which i am not sure is an advantage or disadvantage. other than that i think its up to u
