Has anyone got any tips or resources for we have always lived in the castle? I’m finding it a little bit hard to annotate during the holidays as it’s my first time reading it.

If I lived in a castle, I would wander its empty halls, listening to the whispers of the walls, absorbing the secrets they held. I would drink tea in the abandoned garden, where nature slowly takes over, and watch the shadows dance across the old wallpaper. I would keep my secrets hidden among dusty books, and look out from the tower at the world as if it were but a ghostly reflection. Maybe then I would understand Merricat better, feel the stretch of time between her steps. Maybe then I would become part of an enchanted story myself.
