saw online that schs has some big problems and is overall the worst sehs . obviously canโt be that bad but i believe mhs and nossal are better
Yeah ikr SCHS ranks 39th while Nossal and MHS rank 14th and 13th for schools in vic
Dosanjh (NHS) wrong, its mhs 10th, nossal around 12th
MMHS Yeah about that it changed this year so I was correct just a few months before
ok ty all for responding
MMHS according to this website https://clueylearning.com.au/en/school-rankings/top-secondary-schools/ nossal is 25th?
and schs is 27th, while mghs is 24th and mhs is 15th
Goatham180112 it depedns on how recent the rankins are posted in this, if it was like 2 years ago then probably not too accurate
Goatham180112 we are talking about victoria, not australia, but that's another aspect
MMHS Yeah that's true it depends on what it is being compared to and when the post was published whether or not it is latest or outdated.
a We don't have 'big' problems, its jus we got too many crashouts dragging us down(like they ain't even dumb they are genuinely smart but they don't wanna put the work in). Also MHS and NHS better because most MHS kids come from well off families and NHS is surrounded by well developed and rich neighborhoods, where kids can afford better tuition and the schools get more funding.
cl I feel like half the SCHS slander is underserved, but like I really hope the next cohort can lock in and get us like top 25 at least, cus the school has made a lot of changes.
But like SCHS doesn't even care about rankings that much, they still happy where they are. They would rather have there students be happy and shi, like they incentivizes a lot in music and other VCE subjects that scale down cus they want their students to learn more than what they need for their careers. Also they introduced this thing THRIVE thing which teaches about life skills like doing taxes and shi. MB I went on a massive rant, all I really am saying is that SCHS isn't something to be sad about getting in, but go for the other selective schools if u want.
Western suburbs have a bad reputation and many go to SCHS and very few from the east or centre
.. i live in berwick and i personally wouldnt call it rich neigbourhoods, in fact whenever i got to point cook (which is 1 time every 3 months) i always think pc is better off then berwick
mount waverly, city area, and glen waverly are all rich people areas
berwick kinda depends, there are a lot of modern architecture and some old ones too, i also wouldn't call it a rich peoples area

MauryanBroski also why tf is nossal like literally in the middle of no where, you have to drive a long ass path to the school, kinda crazy
you can also see it on the freeway also which is pretty cool
