It doesn't really matter if it's a sad or happy story, it all depends on how well you write it. You could start with the plot but again, you have to write it well.

There's no 'specific' part you have to focus on cause the math test is quite broad from what I remember. And I'm pretty sure the topics in it may change year to year but it won't differ too much. It's best to learn everything you might need to know cause there's always a possibility of it being on the tests.

I'm not sure about doing the exam, but fairly certain that you won't be able to obtain a study score for that subject. To get a study score you have to get an S for both units 3 and 4. Which also means that doing the exam would hold no value as you won't get a study score either way.
As long as you have min 16 units completed, passed unit 3&4 Eng and passed 3 other 3&4 subjects, you'll get your atar. No need to repeat year 12.

      1. There's typically 5/6 periods a day depending on the day and class you're in (for year 9/10). They're 54mins long.
      2. No there's no homeroom. However there is Connect twice a week in the middle of the day, which is basically homeroom. It's 45mins on Tuesdays and 15mins on Thursdays.
      3. Recess is 25mins and lunch is 56 mins.
      4. This varies from student to student but personally, there's actually not a lot of academic pressure apart from test/exam periods. The students are all generally extremely friendly and supportive and it's not at all like how the public says it is. The classes aren't too difficult, but that also varies between students.
      5. Like all schools there are good and bad teachers. Most teachers are pretty good and teach well, but there are some teachers who don't really teach that good and it's basically all up to the student.

I dont go to schs but yes, even if you accept your second or third preference, you'll still be able to receive and accept a higher preference school and withdraw from Suzanne

        Ahhh good luck 🤞🤞🤞
Do u know how many ppl there are total in ur year level?
I got into macrob last year (In year 9 this year)

      • DarkPhantomA
Nonono that won't happen I mean like if hypotheticallt everyone who got an offer accepts then there'll be no more spots to fill yk but don't take my word for it I might be wrong.
But there's definitely gonna be a second round cause there'll definitely be ppl who declines
Sorry that was really confusing 😭

Im not entirely sure but I think all spots are given out on the first round and if ppl decline then there'll be vacant spots. But if hypothetically nobody declines then there won't be a second round. But some spots would be saved for principal discretion and stuff

        • DarkPhantomA
If the 4% quota has already been filled and nobody declines, then unfortunately no. But if it hasn't been filled yet then yes
          Good luck!

I also did it last year, but apparently the exam was changed and stuff and I don't think there is a round in December

I emailed the school a few hours ago, hopefully that works as well 💀
That's so cool, you could audition for the musical not just the orchestra

I kinda want to join the orchestra for musical as well but if there's practice on weekends/holidays I don't think I can
