Hi I was aiming for a 90atar but I did really bad at the start of the year and I’m worried. My school is ranked in the low 70s and have a median study score of 32. Last year 25% of the year 12s got an ATAR above 90. My scores for unit 3 are:
English: 19/30 22/30 27/40 I think about average in a cohort of 100 the criteria for all were mostly in the high column
Methods: 41/94 I think I was about average in a cohort of around 50
Specialist math: 18/92 ranked last definitely
Art: 48/60 in a class of 20ish I think I did pretty good
Psychology: 22/50 26/50 not ranked last I think slightly below average
I also did my Specialist SAC for integrals today and I feel bad, I did great on part A but I really messed up in part B I think I’ll get around 50-60%
If I really step it up for the rest of unit 4 and do really good on all my exams like A-A+ would I be able to get these ss:
Methods: 35 raw
Specialist math: 29 raw
English: 35/37 raw
Art: 37 raw
Psychology: 36 rawThank you
charl thank you! Turns out there were a few people who got above 50% :’) I’m definitely ranked last in a class of 16 I’m not sure if that makes it worse for myself. Hopefully getting a 30 at least is still possible. I feel like even if I do well in the exam pulling a 20% up to a decent enough grade for a 30 study score is kind of a drastic change tho idk if that sounds possible lmao
Hi everyone, I just got my score back and I got a 20% for my Unit 3 Specialist Math SAC. It's the only one we have for Unit 3 so am I screwed? Will I still be able to get a 30 study score? The rest of the people in my class got less than 50 as well, around 30-50% from the people I've talked to so far. If I do better in my Unit 4 SACs and the exam would I be able to pull up my score?
