Ras I went to a place in Kew called Math Minds. It's fairly new but I think there's one in Box Hill as well. As for preparing I just did lots of timed practice questions.

mhsbandar I got into macrob first round and I have a few tips. Firstly I had only 2 months to prepare but I would probably recommend preparing earlier. However, I think it's really important not to overstudy for it so as not to stress yourself out. Also, I don't think it is very important what the practice questions you are doing are on but more so whether or not they are using critical thinking skills. I did tutoring for a few weeks before the exam and this is sort of like the advice my tutor gave me. However, this is just what worked for me and it might be different for other people. aru Yeah I do a lot of sports outside of school but I'm worried if I have to quit the sports program at Macrob won't be that good.

MMHS Hello, I found out on Tuesday that I was offered a place to Macrob and I can't decide whether I want to go or not. Currently, I go to a school in the northern suburbs 5 mins from my house which is very convenient. I have to say that my current school is not very good however I am very settled. My best friend for 6 years goes there and I'm very involved in music and my school production which I love. However macrob is a very good school which from what I've heard seems like a good fit for me. As well as this, I'm worried I won't form strong connections at macrob as I don't have amazing social skills. I was just wondering what other people think I should do. Thank you <3
