Yes please don't permaban please! Only ban if it is very serious!

asianasen @i_need_mental_asylum , Sorry we can't give permadelete options as its too risky (i.e. it could erase entire threads that have been around for years). To view threads you may need to just go to the different threads individually. I'd recommend just suspending bot users, including if they try to reply to threads.

Alternatively, feel free to just setup an alternative account you just use for spam removal (then just email me at jasheel@atarnotes.com). I can give spam removal to those accounts and then you can use your main account for replying as normal.

AverageMultiChoiceTest yep, any new posts now require approval so we can remove the spam before it appears!

Hey guys! Excellent news, our developers have managed to remove ALL the spam posts we got from a few days ago. For context, there were over 10,000 bot posts. There are now also a few Spam Removers @i_need_mental_asylum @asianasen @LuffyD who now have the ability to approve / delete new discussions and suspend spam users – That way when I am away there are still active moderators.

Note guys I'm trying to get our developer to bulk remover all the posts.

To explain what the issue is, the original developer who made this page used custom coding for everything (instead of just taking the base code). So our current developers cannot install any plugs or make any changes to the discussions page as it just crashes the whole site. We're looking into alternative solutions but that's why its taking some time ... Even something like a feature to remove all posts from a user is not possible right now.

But rest assured I'm really trying to get things going it can be fixed asap.

      All done.

there were like 5 attempted spam posts in the last hour that I could delete before they ever got poster

hey good news though, the approval system is working

hey, yeah I wish there was honestly but this website is built on an old code that we can't edit at all. We have to just go through and manually delete everything

hey guys, I managed to find a setting where all posts require approval. We're in the process of removing the crazy spam forum posts. I'm not sure why they randomly attacked us. Once those posts are all removed this page should be back to normal.

            i_need_mental_asylum

Can you please help remove everything? I'm going through it now as well... Now any new posts need approval so fingers crossed once we remove all the spam from the last few days it'll be good again...

            i_need_mental_asylum

I have given you permissions to remove posts. I'm going through them. Now all new discussions need approval so hopefully this reduces spam.

              just over the weekend

hey guys so sorry for missing your messages, the bots literally hit the page with so many posts
