Anna Delm Aggregate points do not boost your atar from 95.75 to 99.75. Basically its the sum of your study scores that are ranked to give you your atar, you can check online for the tables its usually on the scaling report.
I dont know about unis but personally i'd go to unimelb mainly for the prestige and also cus i like the campus more so don't listen to me about uni preferences. and also latrobe is too far for me.
Jake65 I'm doing methods 1/2 in year 10 this year, and some of my friends are doing general 1/2 so I kind of have an idea what its like? for methods its basically just practice, do as many exercises as you can and ask your teacher the moment theres something you don't understand because unit 1 starts really easy and then they will start piling work on you. I'd say chapter 1, 2, and 3 are really easy but for things like transformations I had to actually try and memorise them. and I also think it gets a bit harder in unit 2 but then unit 3/4 they will definitely make it a lot harder so u need a strong foundation. For general my friends don't study icl but they said they were doing really simple stuff like percentages and rounding or smth for the first few topics but dont quote me on that.
In term of resources vce rocks has some, so you could check there. I just get them from my friends who do tuition so if you do tuition they might have some extra resources.
So for a bit of context im in year 10 rn and im picking my subjects for vce. basically im doing methods and indonesian sl this year, and next year im going to continue both of them, do eng lang, spesh, chem, chinese, accounting and one more subject and im tossing between busman and general because i heard that they are easy and im planning on not paying any attention in the class and hope i get an ok grade because its my 8th subject. I think general should be easy, im averaging high 80s low 90s in methods rn and occasionally a 79 or smth but my friends doing general nht say its really easy. on the other hand i also quite like commerce subjects so may busman will be interesting but i'd like to ask what busman is like because i don't want to do a very time consuming subject.
