We did AOS 2 first which was creative writing and now were doing AOS 1 which is text response

wait same! Now we're doing text response on this play called 'Rainbows End'. It's really interesting
But its weird because my school did crafting texts first, now we're doing text response but while doing all that we we're also somehow doing language analysis?? 😭 yeah...so at some point it was 3 AOS all at once...it was so CHAOTIC. Thankfully we're only mainly focusing on text response now, and lang analysis is only every fortnight.

Omg hahahaha same! Like while we were doing crafting text, my teacher also made us do a bit of argument analysis on the side but my god, I really dislike argument analysis. Creative writing was the easiest one since you could literally write anything and there was no structure. But for text response, there’s a structure 😭

Btw I do English, Maths Methods, Chemistry, Art Creative Practice and HHD. I'm also kind of aiming for 90+, don't know if thats possible but I'm trying! I have no idea what I wanna do just that I wanna get into healthcare, though I'm kind of considering medicine?? I don't know. I think its great to know other people who are also aiming high, so we can motivate each other <3

yeah! its kind of annoying ngl...I mean lang analysis is okay but I agree with you its just really not my favourite either lol.
Yeah ikr! I really enjoyed crafting texts for this same reason because its so flexible, and also because we also did personal journeys??. Like you could write literally anything it was so good. Apparently my only problem was incorporating the title and stimulus though, but like its soo annoying!!

Literally same, I feel like text response is so annoying because if you forget the strcuture then you're kind of done for 😭 But its okay hopefully with practice we'll get there 🙂

Oh cool 🙂 Yep! We use the jacaranda textbook and we finished chapter 5 at the end of term 1; so i think for us our sac is split into 2 parts and the first part is chap 5&6 and the 2nd part is chap 7 i'm pretty sure?? I don't know lol. Where's ur school up to?

Lollll we did personal journeys too and I had the exact same problem. In my practice SAC, my teacher was like, 'you need to incorporate the title' funny enough, I’d get so distracted writing that I’d forget to include it lmaoo.
Yesss omg, and like, you have to be sooo specific, which is so annoying. And the way we have to constantly link back to the prompt and everything. YESSS I agree, with enough practice we’ll definitely get there.

Are you guys also watching a movie and having a SAC on that, as well as reading a book and writing a text response essay as the next SAC? Because that’s what we’re doing. Sooo that’s gonna be GREAT 😭

Oh niceee. We started AOS 2, but for this one we’re creating a poster instead of doing the usual SAC with questions. My teacher’s acting like we’re sooo behind with the HHD content that he made us go through 55 slides and take notes on them as holiday homework LOLLL

OMG same!! Fr like I feel like for the practice SAC and the real one I kind of just slapped the stimulus to the back of my piece because I was in a rush and couldn't think of any other way and I guess I just hoped for the best😭 FRRR....and like its a shame because I like submitted my piece multiple times for feedback and like it was always the prompt and title that messed me up!! Like, isn't the theme enough by itself?? VCAA these days...

I'm so grateful because for health we don't get holiday homework - its basically just use the holidays to revise and summarise what we learnt and do questions and thats basically it....so overall health is pretty chill....though one thing i don't like about health is that basically the teacher asks us to do these exam questions right? And basically in some classes he does spin the wheel so that EVERYONE has to answer at least one question and ngl its so stressful 😭 I highkey hate it sm
