General english study score

I do Unit 3/4 English. On my first SAC I got 80%, aka an A grade.
If I boost my grades, can I get a 40 study score?
My English teacher says you can't drop a SINGLE mark if you want a 40. He said a kid who got a 39 study score got full marks all year until they dropped JUST 1 mark.
Can anyone confirm this??

Yes you can! Your ranking matters more than your actual marks (according to what my teacher said), so if you get a good rank and good marks, then 100% it's possible for you to get a 40 study score 🙂
