tbh i know this is random but Dr. Mordini is genuinely the best principal mhs has had in the past 30 years. he’s actually fixed the school in so many ways. like first thing, he found out that some old lady had stolen like 500k from the school budget for her gambling addiction — and that happened under the last principal. not gonna say his name, but y’all already know who i’m talking about.
then he went and opened the ches centre — and not just as some fancy building for show — it’s actually useful and helping heaps of students go beyond just normal vce stuff.
he upated how the school is run too. made compass actually work properly, reviewed all these outdated policies, and made things more transparent. he doesn’t just sit back — he listens, gets involved, and actually cares about fixing problems.
he also improved wellbeing across the school, brought in proper support systems, and made it clear that school isn’t just about marks — it’s about people too.
honestly, he came in, saw the issues, and started fixing them one by one. no fake promises, no ignoring things. just real leadership. dr. mordini is the upgrade mhs honestly needed.
