KingYen here’s a breakdown of how I think I did:
📐 Math:
Started strong up to Q17. Spent a bit too long (about 3 mins) on Q17–20, which wasn’t ideal. Did okay from Q20–25. Q25–30 I had to rush and guess due to time, but picked back up and did well from Q30–35. Since most people guessed at least 20 questions, I’d estimate myself at Top 20 or Above Average.
📖 Reading:
5 comprehension texts. I did really well on the first two. The middle two I understood less, but the last one was on fast fashion — which I literally researched for school the week before — so I nailed that. Overall, probably Above Average or Average.
🧠 Verbal Reasoning:
Finished within time, guessed smartly on the harder ones. Difficulty felt manageable (around 5/10). I'm confident this was one of my best — probably Top 10.
✍️ Writing:
Did creative first — 350 words in 15 mins, checked it thoroughly. Then used the last 20 mins for persuasive. Arguments were solid, though my evidence varied depending on interpretation (used real people/examples). I’d say Top 10 here too.
🔢 Quantitative:
This was the hardest. I was fine until Q30, then had only 7 minutes for the last 15 questions. Guessed 5 with reasoning, and had to fully guess the last 5. Still think I held it together well — likely Top 20 or Above Average.
So overall, probably 2x Top 10s (Writing, Verbal), and 3x Above Average or Top 20. If the Round 1 cutoff needed more Superiors, I was just outside. But this kind of spread should definitely put me in the running for Round 3 or PD.
Let’s see how it plays out.
