Subject selection. I'm really confused

..

Aight basically I'm leaning between bio or physics. My current subjects are English, chem, methods, spesh, and business management(might change tho idk). I have no idea what I wanted to be what but its either engineering(robotics or ai software developer) or medicine(dentistry). I have a balanced opinion on both so that's why I'm really torn, like I'm not good at memorization but I'm also not good at application 😭

Also if I do Bio then should I accelerate it in year 11 instead of busman? I've already done Unit one of bio in tutoring(Stopped going tho cus of burnout from my schdule) so I can project the difficult of 3/4.

Or should I not take either cus of the workload and pick something like legal studies as that knowledge may be useful in the future if I ever get into a legal dispute?

I'm really lost and any advice helps.

.. Hi there! With you talking about robotics, I feel that Physics could sorta relate to that but you said you've done Unit 1 of Bio so you have a general consensus of what Bio is like. If you feel like you could handle the workload, choose Physics. The reason why is because Engineering seems to have more corelation with Physic than Bio does. If you feel like the workload is too much, maybe go with something that is similar to robotics like software development or a subject similar to that. I haven't researched much about computer development and the rise of AI but I would be happy to give it a look! Just so you know, I am not in VCE yet and this is just my opinion on what you should do!

.. if your planning on dropping out of business management and able to then i would recommend taking on bio and physics but it really depends on whether or not your able to handle both subjects

.. okay so you're stuck between bio and physics, equally bad at memorisation and application .. which is, ironically, what both subjects demand. fun!.. you're aiming for engineering or dentistry, both of which pretty much require one of those, so picking neither is just delaying the inevitable.

accelerating bio when you've already burnt out from unit 1 tutoring sounds like a genius plan to achieve maximum misery. or, you could just pick legal studies to dodge the pain and pretend future legal disputes are a valid reason to sacrifice a genuinely useful subject. basically, you're cooked either way, so pick your poison. ദ്ദി(≧∇≦)

.. but fr tho, if you wanted an answer, just go with bio. it’s gonna set you up better for dentistry, and since you’ve already done a bit in it, you might find it less painful than starting fresh with physics. yeah, it’s tough, but you can handle it, just pace yourself and don’t overload. plus, if you ever change your mind about engineering, having bio under your belt won’t hurt..?
