nic25 I'd definitely have a look at Year8/9 science books, specifically those which follow the Victorian Curriculum. At my school, we weren't taught anything about fossils because the Year 8/9 coordinator of science chose the study design themselves - they didn't follow the suggested curriculum unit to unit.
