Kansky yes max out your extracurricalars, start participating in sports like field hockey, rowing, tennis, squash, etc as they look upon these sports very highly. Also I highly reccomend applying for Trinity Grammar and St Leonards as they arguably have the best both national and international connections (for jobs/uni/sports) in Victoria. Mhs is alright, even though it says 26 they usually take more or less 30, even last year they said they're taking 26 but it was confirmed that they took 30. But it would be way better to go to a private school than mhs. Mhs replicates a private school but it's meant to be for students who may not neccesiarly come from the highest most equitable background but strive for excellence. Getting a scholarship at these schools isn't impossible as long as u have above par co currcialrs. The amount of scholarships largely depends on the cohort, and in my opinion you do not neccearsliy need a tutor as most of the content that appears on this test is extremely however what would be worth is obtaining some practice tests to get used to the style of the questions.
