Subject selection advice (VIC)

Hi I'm currently a yr 10, i'm looking for a breakdown of some of the subjects I'm debating to pick up. The current subjects I locked in are:

English Language 1/2
Psychology 1/2
Chinese Language 3/4
Community Service VET
Religion & Society 2 (Compulsory)

What I'm debating for the subject is history and business, I really don't know what either subject is like so is there anyone has any knowledge or advice?

okay so from what i heard:

history: very much a 'if your teacher sucks you're doomed' situation. lots of memorising, lots of writing so if you're good with teeal this is the subject for you. i'd recommend asking around abt ur teacher
business: very content-heavy, but if you lock in, its pretty easy. however scaling is not that great so if thats a priority for you i'd recommend history instead

Could anyone give any advice on these subjects I plan to do next year (year 11). By the way I enjoy maths a lot, so a higher load isn't too bad for me.

Sof333 Hi There! Wow uhm, I must say that is a strong subject pool right there. The best advice I could give is to make sure that you keep up study habits for all 6 subjects. Spesh and Methods kinda go together so that's something you could look into. Physics has a lot of mathematical components so might be easier??? Make sure you don't neglect your 1/2s when studying Bio.

Sof333 if you can handle the workload its fine, just make sure you can juggle all of these bc french, physics, bio, spesh, methods and lit are all infamous for having a high workload and difficult sacs

Hi thanks so much for the quick advice, I think I will try ot and see how it goes. My thinking is if it's too much work at the end of year 11 i can drop either spec or french depending om what's working best. I understand it's a lot of work but I'm willing to try it, and can always modify if I need.
