20/8/25 City Experience Part 1!
Where to begin..... It was a whole day full of walking, interviewing and possibly eating a bit too much food. I only spent $18 so I'LL TAKE THAT. I can't believe Day 1 was so packed, hopefully it goes the same for the next two days.
I got up at a 'slightly' early time of 5:15am. It allowed me to do my morning routine, revise city notes and get dropped off at Springvale station at a wonderful 6:53am where it was freezing. The Train ride to the city wasn't too bad and I talked to a Macrob person on the train as well so that was nice. I got off at Southern Cross and made my way to the meeting spot. The city experience was enjoyable! I managed to interview a lot of people and randomly talk to strangers (I'm very social). I ate sushi and French fries and had an amazing experience!
Now, @asianasen was asking for this so I'll include it here. The MacRobertson Girls are kind and nice. The Melbourne High Boys are a blast to be with, (with some slight bias since I was with my MHS friend). I also saw a Scotch College kid, but he didn't have his blazer (I would do the same). There were also St Kevins kids (They literally have a station outside their school). I also saw Wesley Kids which get the honourable mention of worst uniform of the APS in my opinion. I surprisingly saw Ivanhoe Grammar Kids, since their school at a bit far away (not too far). There were a few other schools there for an excursion, but they aren't the main ones. Those are the main takeaways and hopefully there's more that happens tomorrow!!!!
