Pea! Hiii! You can most definitely apply to enrol into Unihigh, however you have to take into consideration about the school zone range. I would recommend you should apply for the EBSS program, because that building where I believe most of your lessons will be held in is definitely the nicest and newest building, with better facilities. Additionally, you'll probably be in a more academically-minded mini-cohort, if that makes sense. The standard VCE classrooms are really... depressing -_-"
While I cannot comment on what it's like to study at EBSS, or the additional benefits for joining it (other than the facilities lol), I can give you a brief insight into the Unihigh life. I'm guessing you're mainly asking about the academic/environment there. I was in the SEALP or AP program from years 7-8, so I definitely found a really tight-knit class (of nerds haha) that helped each other study at lunchtimes. As for the learning style, I would say, like all schools, it really depends on the teacher as well as the subject. Honestly, across all subject domains there are some really good and passionate teachers. In my opinion, the workload wasn't that heavy that it would be more 'self-oriented', however I'm not too sure how much the workload has increased by year 10. They gave quite a lot of resources and lessons were pretty engaging and useful in my experience.
I'm not too sure if I fully answered your question though, so feel free to ask about any specific aspect of the "unihigh experience" lol
