beep_boop I had to do a similar thing for EngLang! I think what helped me initially was just to work out the relevant area of the article/paper (taboo? euphemism? language identity?), and that gave a nice starting point to talk about it. Sometimes there'll be multiple relevant parts of the study design! I think they're the most interesting ones, because then you can make links between different parts of the course.

Hey beep boopers,

I'm currently writing while on the back of the bus for my chem excursion.

I finished my first part of the spesh sac this week and I'm gonna do the second part on monday.

On monday, all the mainstream eng kids went on an excursion and some classes only had 2 kids lol.

Honestly, everything feels so close, yet so far. I'm fluctuating between waiting to get a good atar thats enough for my dream course and just finishing yr 12. Its a lot. People are already asking me what I'm gonna wear for muck up. Let's hope the inflatable unicorn is still there at spotlight.

Hi y'all,

I've so many sacs coming up and from then until the end of term, I have at least 2 sacs per week. My spesh and eng lang are next week. Then methods the week after. Someone asked me, what sacs I had coming up and I said, "I don't know." Which ik is a bad answer, but I'm just taking it day by day at this point. The finish line is so close yet so far. 😶😩😔 I did my psych sac last week. I got my raw score back and it was an improvement from last time.

A couple weeks ago, I went to the rmit open day and it was good. Wish I got some of the free food tho. I finished watching only murders in the building and now there's an illegal cliffhanger. 😡😤 I brought my muck up day outfit now I just need green face paint. I've borrowed a bunch of books. So rn, I'm currently reading social queue by kay kerr. I'm liking it so far.

My goals for this week are:
update my rulesbook for spesh
churn out more essays for eng lang
finish my methods exercises and update my rulesbook

Hi beep boopers,

Hope sept has been treating you well. I know I've been a bit slack with updating but I've had a lot of sacs and even took a week off school because of my health.

I only have four sacs as of now. That is my last outcome for psych, the last 2 outcomes for chem and an essay for eng lang. I've been nervously anticipating my exams and most of my fellow '22ers would feel or anyone doing an accelerated subject.

I honestly don't know if I'll miss school, it just feels a bit scary that most of my life its been school. Now we're almost at the final chapter and opening a new one soon. I don't know how to feel about that.

Has anyone found their muckup day outfit? I just need to find green facepaint. Hopefully, I can find some in the upcoming holidays ahahah.

beep_boop yes! I feel exactly same. Like I feel like I'll miss school, particularly being in class, my teachers (I've been so lucky to have amazing teachers this year), and seeing my friends everyday. Although, there are things I definitely won't miss (aka, our common room that's super stuffy and always smells like day old toasted sandwiches haha). It's weird that we've been in school for most of our lives, and now we're almost done. Wow! Exams are coming up so quick, and the final days are approaching so fast! It's honestly crazy! Anyway, good luck for your last SACs. I hope they go well! You've got this!

Our school isn't having a muck up day this year because 2 years ago, someone set off fireworks on the oval 😐
So, our teachers are planning something but we don't know what it is yet lol.

Hopefully you can still dress up and stuff. Its defs the highlight of the year. I know there was this one incident at another school where the year 12s managed to sneak in and stay overnight at school. They completely trashed the school leaving graffiti behind and stuff. Now anytime they have a muckup day, the year 12s aren't allowed to mingle with the younger levels.

My school even started a count down last week. I was like OMIGAH theres only 18 days lefttttt. The school captain copped it for some reason because she put in on "too early and it should've been closer to exams ." They then copped it again for putting on "too late". I honestly question how my school works lol. Anyways, rant over. 😩😂

Yeah! Its crazy how time flies dude, I remember my first day of year 7 and I got detention 🤣 for chewing gum.
I've honestly lost count of how many days are left because I was so busy preparing for mock exams (practice for externals) and its real sad its all coming to and end 😢

I understand questioning how school works because the mock exams are spread across two weeks at other schools and at our school, some of us have 5 exams in one week. Which (thankfully) is nothing like the external exams. Oh well, I thinks its all about making every moment count.

Hi beep boopers,

Hope you all are doing well and hopefully wrapping things up with practice exams and the lot. I've been looking over my eng lang pieces and realised I write way too much. I need to condense it quite a bit and as we all know. VCAA says only "salient features" are to be written.

I've done a few for most of my subjects and I have my trials next week. Which is a bit scary considering how some of them are marked by an actual vcaa assessor. I hope the year finishes ok and just get into the course I want.

This time next year, I hope I get to be where I want. I know I sound I bit dull rn, but yr has kinda sucked the soul of me. Sounds dramatic, but I want my soul back after my final exam. 😀 😂

This is literally how I feel right now! This year has been hectic and so hard in soooooo many ways. However, we're so close though so yayayayay (except also scary cause the exams are coming up way too fast...there's so much to do eeek)! I too can't wait to finally have my life back after my exams!

As you all know (or don't know) a lot of us are stressed out because exams are fast approaching around the corner. I didn't do as much prac exams as I wanted to even tho I did quite a few. I did trial exams during this week and I was exhausted by friday. I hope I don't feel as tired when the actual ones come around.

Tmr, I don't start school but I'm coming in to do a yr 12 muck day rehearsal. We've been planning to do some pranks and I lowkey I wanna scare sum yr 7's for funnsies hehe. 😜😈 Some of us even suggested to put fake parking tickets on teacher's cars.

To all my fellow yr 12's, we're almost there! Almost done, lets try our best and after that we'll won't even have to think about yr 12 again.

Heyo,

Just wanted to pop in before my exams start.

My eng lang teacher likes to annoy the hell out of me for the countdown until the exam. As of writing, t-15 days. Ngl kinda scary. My "official" school life ends in exactly a weeks time. Its like the rapid closing of a chapter, before we get chucked into a new one. I'm scared but I can't wait for this new one to start. Can't believe I'm saying this before I even sit my first exam hahahahah.

This update is a bit emotional. Feel free to skip it if you like.

I had my last day of school ever, today. I thought I would be happy, but I was still kinda sad. I started crying yesterday with my friends because they were crying first and then I was crying. It felt kinda weird, when I was in yr 7 my blazer was too big (still is). But now its like I've grown into it and becoming an adult. Before the last bell, my friends were crying and I was crying. Again. I always thought I would be super happy, sometimes even we surprise ourselves. Tmr is muckup day. Hopefully, there will be no waterworks then. But I reckon there will be some at graduation. T-9 days until my eng lang exam.

Keep it up '22ers! We're almost there.

beep_boop i've honestly felt the same after both methods and spesh 1 and it's not a great feeling. exam nerves can just make ur brain go mush sometimes. but hey! exam 1 isn't even weighted super heavily, so there's every chance to make up for it in exam 2. i'd say just take this weekend to recalibrate, maybe take some time to destress a bit before Monday (easier said than done, i know). and at the end of the day, like jinx_58 said, it's spesh!! there's a reason why it scales like crazy (i'm relying on the extra 12 marks atp) 😭

I've been in a pretty despondent mood all day lol. I just saw on other forums saying it was easy and I happen to freak out even more. I hope I can get just the 12 marks at this point. For this weekend, I'm gonna look over past papers, go over weak points and tell myself not to freak out in the exam. My spesh 2 is one monday. I just wanna get into my course. 😩😂😅

I can't wait for tues bc its my last exam, then I'm all done hehe. No more chem, vcaa or whateves 🤧😎
