  • What's your favourite thing about studying at uni?

Just interested to see what people like most about the uni experience - or what you're looking forward to, if you're currently in high school and plan to pursue a uni course.

For me, I think the sense of freedom was good (in some ways - bad in others). I liked being able to just come and go as desired. It was cool being able to study exclusively units I'd specifically chosen according to certain interest areas, too.

How about you?

There's so many things I can say but the main thing for me is being surrounded by like minded people. I no longer feel guilty for studying and enjoy being able to discuss academic related things with others. The flexibility has also been great.

I also found that uni has given me a much richer learning experience than school. I have learnt SO much about so many different things in just 1.5 years. I also enjoy having assignments during semester compared to the SACs we had to sit at school.

Having fewer contact hours than high school. In-class time is way less efficient than self-directed learning for me, so this lets me achieve the same outcomes with fewer hours.
