if theres any possibility you need it as a prereq, then definitely do not drop it.
I accelerated and did it a year early, and despite loving maths, found it extremely difficult. You should talk to your school, as I'm certain it would make a big difference in what your expected score would be.
I would advocate to keep it, as I found it fun, but there were definitely times during the year where I hated it to pieces.
If you aren't the biggest fan of algebra and graphing, drop it. If you're struggling with year 11, I'd probably suggest dropping it unless you're willing to put in countless hours to fixing that. Its not impossible to get a good score for someone who doesn't like maths, but it would take either a really nice school or dedication.
Ultimately, its up to you. Do what you think will make you happy. I know methods is a cause for a lot of strain on mental healths, but there are both pros and cons to doing it.
I'm doing further this year and I love it to pieces. As someone who was doing methods, it is extremely easy and as long as you put in the work, you will do well. I believe everything in further(except networks) can be learnt without much mathematical skills at all, its all about just practising.
Good luck, and don't think about it too hard
