Hey everyone , just thought of making this discussion panel so that we all can post what we thought about the 2022 methods exam.

I'm so happy that we've gotten exam 1 over and done with, but honestly it was pretty hard.
Some questions were decent but then some were just not expected.

yea, last question was weird, and I was mad I couldn't work out the simultaneous one.

God omg legend!! for question 6 did we have to actually label all the max and min points?? 😭

the questions were honestly so weird - like the simultaneous equations question was something i haven't done since headstart.
i honestly came out of the exam feeling pretty confident, but once i actually thought about some of my answers i'm not feeling so good anymore...
does anyone know if you have to get A+ on both exam 1 and 2 for a raw 40 😓 i feel like i'm gonna disappoint my methods teacher

hey guys! I was wondering if anyone could give me recommendations on what past exam problems I should include in my bound reference for tomorrow (any help would be appreciated)

bw304 im in the exact same position ahhh i think i got 32/40 judging off solutions i've seen but i knew i could do so much better so im mad

butterfly13579 I just put in the ones I struggled with during practice exams. There are heaps of methods exam answer videos on youtube for detailed solutions! Maybe look through your practice exams and put in solutions for questions which you found difficult?

What is the A+ cut-off going to be?? Is there a chance I could get a raw 40 with like 32/40 on the exam 1 (AHHH so mad about that tbh) and a 90 sac average at a very competitive school? I'll probably get around 66-70/80 tomorrow im PRAYING i can get a 40 ive worked so hard

          swheels_

You would probably br around a borderline 40 with those scores but definitely depends on how the state goes on each of the exams

Does anyone have a copy of the exam?

swheels_ 66-70/80 should be good if it's a hard exam tomorrow, but i'm not too sure what study score that would be and yeah it does depend on how the state goes but also your school.

but otherwise if you've worked hard and given it your best shot then you'll be rewarded!
