Wassup everyone,
I dont wanna be another one of those people obsessed with trying to figure out their study score but i put a lot into methods and i want to do really well. I was wondering if yall could let me know if a 40 ss is accomplishable with these scores.
Rank 3 in a just above average school around 94% Sac average
39/40 Exam 1
67-68/80 Exam 2
I would look at the graphs and calculators but since the exam this year was a lot easier i feel like my marks lost in exam 2 is more costly. Any help is appreciated thankss.

yea that should be a 40ss, possibly a little higher like a 42 even. Id say your range is about 39-42. 39 if top 2 did really poorly on the exam but that would be unlikely so you should be in the safe zone for a 40. Well Done

Revan thank you, that's really reassuring to hear. 42 would be awesome for me.

No worries, if you want me to predict any other subjects. Please let me know as i've spent countless hours on atarcalc, grade distribution, tsfx graphs, etc 🙂

Revan OK im going to take you up on that right now. My other good subject is physics, i was rank 1 in a 25 people average cohort and got around 128/130 on the exam. This exam was far on the easier side compared to normal, my goal is a 48+ do you think that is achievable.

If you are rank 1 and you achieved 128/130, I would say you are guaranteed 48+. I didn't do physics but I know the exam is tight and roughly 1 mark is one study score, so the lowest you could get would be a 48. Seems as though you have done really well.

Yeah thats what ive been told but idk i just feel like the exam this year was wayyyy to easy and the average is gonna be so high which is really annoying, im hoping youre right tho. Yeah i'm decent with numbers but english is whats gonna let me down this year i can feel it.
Thanks heaps for the help. .

I have the same problem as I thought methods and spec were wayyy to easy. But regardless how high the average is, as long as you score close to 100% as possible, you should get a high ss. Only 11 days more till we find out so fingers crossed

wow, you guys have done really well. How did you guys go with your assignments, I am in year 11 and need to improve my assignment writing drastically, for example I received an A+ on my methods block exam but a C for the assignment. What are some ways you can improve at writing them and achieve higher grades. Its the same for science for me. (More of a math and science student).
Thanks in advance and really am impressed at the accomplishments you have received.

lil N from what I remember I actually didn’t have many assignments in year 12 lmao so idk if I could be much help. However for the few I had I did really well in cause I had a good relationship with my teacher and so I would honestly keep checking and pestering them to ensure that I was getting everything. Although it may have been annoying for them, they are the ones marking it so you gotta keep taking their advice.

Revan Hey just wondering if you could estimate my methods ss? Thanks heaps
my average sac score is 94% and probably top 10 in the cohort
          exam 1: 36/40
          exam 2: 65-68/80

I rekon that you should be in the 40's for sure. If I had to give a range, I would say 39-43. Some say that this year's exam was on the easy side and i'm not sure how your cohort did, but your ss should be in that range. Well Done, hope that helps 🙂
