Same thing happened actually, I ended up sleeping at 4:30am before my chem exam which was in the morning and around 2:30am for my maths exams. This was not good as I suspect it altered performance which was disappointing. What I found out after my exams was that I should watch a boring video, get into bed a lot earlier or try get exams out of your mind by doing some sort of exercise beforehand. Im assuming you are in yr11 so you have time to figure out more about yourself and ways in which you can fall asleep quickly, I've heard inhaling, holding breath and exhaling works, but it didn't for me. Experiment and find out what works best for you.
