Hello everyone. I am new to this page. I had a question about writing.
Are we allowed to make up evidence in persuasive writing? Or do we have to use other types of persuasive techniques?
Hello everyone. I am new to this page. I had a question about writing.

Also, good luck to everyone doing the exam tomorrow! Hopefully we can all succeed!

I might not be the right person to answer this because i don't like persuasive myself but from what I know, is that it would be much more preferable and also safer to only write evidences in which u r confident that they r true or write from the background knowledge about the prompt that they give u (if they provide the evidence, not sure)
This is only what i know, I still think you might also want to ask someone else though..
Rohan16 From what I have known, making up evidence isn't gonna help. So just use the facts that you already know and use anecdotes, rhetorical questions, etc. I mostly plan for 5 mins at least 3 strong arguments, then expand on them within time management. For evidence I simply just use basic knowledge and logic to support my arguments. These are just some of the few ways you can do your persuasive piece.

selectiveschoolexamcandidate Where can we find this information?
Rohan16 I mostly got the time of the tests from (https://selectiveentry.acer.org/vic/exam-day), and I got the number of questions from contacting acer.

Quick question. Are creative and persuasive considered separate subjects? Or are they combined into one??
