does anyone have a rough idea of what yr 9 maths topic will be on the test bc ive heard simple trig pythag and algebra will be in it if anyone knows anything else it will be appreciated

quadratics is a must but ig its too late to go deep into it, maybe a little on parabola and either than that js practice problem solving to allow ur brain to solve with many strategies

No. You just need to know:

Extensive algebra
Full understanding on parabola
How logimaths works
Understanding on Gradient
Simultaneous equations.
Quadratics is a must
Limits - maybe.

It is all basic maths that is learnt in like, grade 4 stuff. However, it is just worded weirdly. To solve them well you just need good understanding

For both of them. 30 minutes. If you use more, you will not adapt to what the test will actually be like.

if you take 40 for reading you arent gonna be prepared enough, 40 is way to long

AaronForSelective Do you really need to learn limits and also I don't think you need a FULL understanding on the parabola, just the basics and intermediate stuff

AaronForSelective for vr 55/60 for rc it was 33/35 but it wasnt better education it was a different timed one

MMHS also the 40 mins wasnt timed bc i counted in the time i had to go bathroom which was 10 minutes then i did the test halfway after the bathroom break which ate into my time also the vr was better education the rc wasnt
