yea this is a sehs one not jmss, perhaps go onto a jmss discussion bc i don't rlly know much about jmss stuff

MMHS still tho, do you think I have a chance, JMSS works very similar to sehs, half of applicants get an interview

perhaps, though i think two averages would set you back a lot. I'd say if you have like 1 avg its still fine but two is pushing it. You have a good chance of getting an offer but, since both of your reports are lower on the scheme, and jmss is a science based school, your chances are good but will be set back due to the predominance in the science spectrum. Don't get me wrong, you do have a good chance of getting in, its just my opinion. Also, i suggest you should start researching on interview tactics and what not bc ultimately, that is the gateway to your entrance to jmss

MMHS ooh nice, i started last year too (for the SEAL group which i'm in it's necessary to play an orchestral instrument) and we do weekly orchestra for concerts and stuff but yea. I have a mini keyboard that I just play for fun sometimes, and I do a bit of guitar as well so yea 🙂

clover nicee, currently i dont do the school music program (like private lessons in school) but if i get in mhs, and i think this applies for all, I want to get really involved in more co-curricular activities like debating, school orchestra, chess club and other things. But yeah I'm just hoping and praying that everything works out on July 16th

MMHS ive done year 9 debating b4 and let me tell you it is amazingly fun but also somewhat challenging! topics ive remember doing were on nuclear energy, retirement age etc. however, from experience, making rebuttals on the spot against the opposing team can be difficult AND U CANT CHOOSE WHAT SIDE 😭 so yeah definitely debating!

im embarrased to tell u that mines at 549 tho its only bc i was rlly good in ps then i just didn't play and i got rlly bad
