yea ur right but this isn't applicable for all cubic expressions, see, we can only apply this technique when the first 2, and the last two terms are in the same ratio, so, we have x3 which is just 1 bc x has no number in front of if, while the next term is 3x2 which is 3, so the ratio is 1:3. Now then next one is the same, its just 3:9 or 1:3 so we can only use factorising by grouping in these cases, otherwise good spotting
