guys just a quick heads up, no one should be learning anything new at this point, bc with 10 days left, you will rush it, its better to just do practice tests, and for things like quadratic, cubic expressions and parabolas, don't bother going deep into them as there is much more to the topic than just the superficial level many see them as.

MMHS lol I sped-ran non-monies in 3 days, it depends on whether you are going to sacrifice 7 hrs a day or not on a new topic. Non-monics felt necessary so I did so, otherwise, if it is just a little detail that may not come on the exam, don't bother.

Tas non monics and monics are factorsing quadratics here is an example i believe is popular it goes like x²+11+28 and the way u would do this is to find the product which is 28 and sum which is 11 then find the 2 numbers that are a factor in the sum and product for example it would be 7 and 4 due to 7+4 being 11 and 7x4 being 28 then u would factorise it by doing {x+4} {x+7}

AaronForSelective fr tho but that stuff wouldnt be on the test i believe i reckon just work on pythag, trig and quadratics for basic yr 9 math and ur good pro tip on nr and vr dont stay more than 1 minute on a question and dont finish it all if u dont have time

It doesn't matter where you live. None of the selective schools care where you live, they just want smart children.

Fun fact:
Selective Schools only have high ATARs because of the competition between the students.

AaronForSelective thats is not even slightly correct but sehs look for smart children but u have a better chance of getting in if u live closer to ur preferences

were is blud just plucking this information out from lol. I think i know what i am talking about when i say the close to the sehs aspect. My tutor, got into melb high with 2 superiors, and 3aa's when others missed out and he lived 10 mins away from mhs. Also he has been tutoring for the past 10 years so he has more experience than u buddy. Also about the k-dramas. Not all teachers are asian btw. Also, that is completely wrong, sehs don't just want smart children, whats the point of having a principles discretion then? To just show off ONLY your academic prowess. No, bc people who have played for state in sports, are extremely talented on instruments get in this way. So maybe research a bit more before saying a bold statement like that. Don't hate or anything, it's just that when i have proof, i don't really want to be refuted.

if they got into a selective assume you could assume they have all of them have at least slightly more interest in studies than the average student, even if they are sporty. That's probably why they have a higher ATAR
