  • Methods - How do SACs count?

For methods, I'm aware that GA1 is coursework for Unit 3 and Unit 4. And for psychology, GA1 is unit 3 and GA2 is unit 4.

Does this mean that for methods, we get graded based on our overall ranking for the end of Unit 3 and 4, whereas in Psychology we get graded based on our ranking of Unit 3, and another grade based on our ranking for Unit 4 (as separate entities)?

Correct, the science subjects are good in this regard because it gives you more of a chance to redeem yourself in U4 if you underperform in U3 instead of having low U3 results dragging you down in the entire year's ranking
