Grace AI idk i got an offer in august, there might be more offers if people decline or leave the school

      zzz Congratulations! You waited just two weeks to get your offer for year 10 entry. I wonder why there are vacancies in Year 10. Are students leaving for another school?

            TTV Are you still on the waiting list or have you received an offer? How long will you be on the waiting list, any idea/ did they tell you?

              Is anyone still on the waiting list for yr10|yr11? How long will this waiting list be maintained?

                Grace AI I think with waiting lists, (I was on one last year for SCHS but this year I got in), it lasts I think the whole year for the year ur applied for.
                Like for next year, if you applied for year 11, if an year 11 student from the school that you got wait-listed to leaves, the person on the top of the wait list will get in.

                It should be for that whole year if I'm not wrong.

So if I'm on the waiting list this year for year 11, 2024, then I have a chance of getting in next year and I can get offer of enrolment in 2024. So it's valid until the beginning of next year or any time next year? It looks like it can take quite a long time, 5-7 months, right?

                        yes u have a chance anytime this year and next year.
                        Basically if anyone this year chooses to change their mind and not go to Suzanne next year, then whoever was on the top of the waiting list gets the option to go or not. and then everyone moves up a sport and so on.
                        If some kid next year chooses to leave Suzanne for whatever reason, then the same thing happens.

                        Sometimes some kids do decide to leave, however it is usually 'rare' and thats why waiting lists are for the whole year cause they dont know when who's gonna leave.

                        So yeah it can take quite a long time, probably even till end of about term 3 next year, (I doubt they take people in term 4), also depends on ur place on the waiting list, if you're 1st, 2nd etc.

                        I got in this year cause I did the test again and not because I was on the waiting list, but cause its not possible to do the test again next year for the year 11's I think u pretty much rely on the waiting list.

                            itsAme Thanks again. So what you're saying is anytime next year is only valid for the year 11 wait list. But if anyone was on the year 10 waiting list that list would probably be valid until the year 11 entrance exam as you had to sit for the year 11 exam? I'm assuming you were on the waiting list for year 10 and as you didn't hear and then sat the exam for year 11 something like that?

                              yes thats right, im not certain about the process but I am pretty sure thats how it works.

                              Corect me if I am mistaken but my tutor told me that the tests will be similar for all year levels, as I am doing year10 entry this year, I can still use the same resources I used last year for the year9 entry exam…
