Hi guys,
So basically, unit 3 wasn't great for me. Here are my averages:
Economics: 65%, Rank 3/7
Methods: 45%, Rank 7/10
Chemistry: 66%, Rank 5/10
English: 80%, Rank 16/60
Legal Studies: 70%, Rank 5/14
I decided that I wanted to change things up and get that goal ATAR which I told myself I would get at the start of the year. So far in u4, these are my scores:
English: 80%, Ranks, 16/60
Chemistry: 88% Rank 4/10
My English oral was actually 95% but since it doesn't match my previous scores, the teachers 'moderated' which honestly sucks for me and I still haven't gotten over it lol (they should know im not bad at English, I duxed it last year)
Going forward from here, I intend to get 85-95% average for all of u4 for all my subjects. However, my ranking will still suffer a great deal from u3. I also go to a pretty average school - we have around 2 people get 40+ study scores per subject every year with the majority of the rest being around 30-35.
I guess my question is, if I completely blitz the exam and get these scores:
English: 28/30
Methods 1: 95%
Methods 2: 95%
Chemistry: 95%
Economics: 95%
Legal Studies: 95%
Is it still possible for me to recover from by horrible ranks and get that 96-8 ATAR?
Thanks for reading if you've made it all this way! Just looking for some consolation rn lol.
