I am currently doing 1/2 eco and am doing fine but find the content dry at times. I am thinking of dropping it next year to go straight into 3/4 legal without having done the 1/2. Is this a mistake?
I would love to hear peoples experience with both subjects in 3/4, how much 1/2 legal crosses over to the 3/4 and which subject is easier to do well in.
Thank you!

Legal 3/4 is amazing, i didn't do 1/2 last year and I'm ranking #1 (i go to a tryhard school btw)
advantages:
- fun subject.
- things sometimes link to each other which makes learning the subject easy.
- depending on the teacher it doesn't matter if you didn't do 1/2 they go over the content anyway.
disadvantages:
- content heavy, u may need to do pre-class reading to make sure you understand what the teacher is saying (especially if they don't explain stuff).
- you have to do LOTS of writing and explaining for sacs and exams to get marks.
- if you are not interested in the law field you may find it a bit dry.
hope this helps!!!
