Holidays are over so we're pretty much in the last term of content now which is absolutely terrifying. Someone was unproductive on the holidays and and did not attend any of the ATAR notes lectures she signed up for or do the schoolwork she was meant to.. But oh well.
I did go to metro con on Saturday/Sunday which is so fun and now I don't have a con until September which is a smaller local one held by my town! Plus I have succesffuly annoyed friends into group cosplay which is gonna be awesome. Also I talked to my favourite cosplayer ever at metro (they are so nice!!) as well as the actors for Mantis from gaurdians and Cressida and lord Debbling from Bridgerton (through a pabel, I did not pay to meet them lol).
I handed in my English oral yesterday so hopefully I get decent marks at that and I ended up making like 5 coffees yesterday for hospitality which is good.
Motivation is way lower at the moment but oh well, it is what it is.

Oh and my August is going to be so frigging busy. I'm legit in Melbourne every Sunday for 3 open days and a scholarship interview. Plus Monash and Deakin are going to be such pains to get to which sucks. But at least some other friends are doing open days this year which is nice
Rey_of_sunshine owww the uni open days would be annoying— i live metro and getting around with public transport to uni’s are annoying.
hopefully that motivation gets better…. remember we are almost at the finish line!!

FH I'm scared I'm going to end up losing a lot of my friends which I know is inevitbale but it still sucks
Rey_of_sunshine i completely understand but what i think i can say is that there will always be opportunities to make friends, and i have the mindset of if they want to make an effort alongside mine to be friends, that’s great, but if they don’t show an effort it’s just how things turn out (idk if that sounds rly bitchy it doesn’t mean to come across like that)
FH doesn't come across as bitchy to me and yeah. I'm just awful at maintaining friendships (I'm so bad at contacting people lol). And yeah I know I can make friends I geuss it's just weird to think how many of the people I enjoy talking to now I'll probably never speak to again after highschool

That's so real. Are we all in the same boat here? Cuz for me, when I stopped doing a certain subject, it was like we didn't know each other anymore. But whatever, I don't need them in my life. Friends are like seasons, they come and go 
Leeshi I have some friends that have moved schools and it's just kind of like they don't exist anymore besides occassionally seeing each other's insta posts. I've been lucky enough to make a few awesome friends this year but some I just don't know if we'll stick around which sucks. One of my friends dropped out this year but we still talk regularly and have even met up for a couple of conventions because of a shared interest in cosplay so hopefully thats a sign I'll be abkle to keep a few?
But yeah, so many people I'll probably never speak to again.
I worked at the cafe today and I once again have got myself tea (green+jasmine for anyone who is curios) and I once again feel very mature and adulty.
Oh and an update: I got rank 2 for english and one of my closest friends got rank 1 and they've done frigging awesome and definitely earnt it. We're girlbossing fr

Update: Got my english oral results (80% and I have some issues with the feedback I got but oh well..) but my personal life is looking so busy again. How come I've never done anything and then suddenly year 12 I decided to start doing things? Starting next week I am giving 2 presentations to students about CHES, an exursion to check out a place for an afterschool hospitality SAC, 3 open days, a scholarship interview, my sisters birthday, my fathers birthdat and the after school SAC. Then in September I have another convention and I've decided to actually do stuff for my birthday which will be a childish dress-up party and then a small picnic in cosplay. Plus my uni subject has started up after school classes so thats three nights a week. Sorry for getting ranty but I have so much to do for cosplays (and so much money to spend..) but yeah. Look at me being all interesting this year, yay.

Stayed at school until 8 last night to present CHES to the students at my school. I made the powerpoint and spoke twice as well as ran a little info booth. Volunteering is stresffull yet slay
