FH Thankyou! Tommorow I'm probs gonna be a mess cause its our actual ceremony and stuff + our dress up but at least I get to dressup as a genshin character lol. It feels like so much has changed since year seven, I mean we went through a damn pandemic and everything. Terrifying to think about what comes next
Rey's VCE journey into year 12
Rey_of_sunshine YESSSS enjoy dressing up omg!! you will easily be best dressed! and yeh, covid still seems like a crazy long time agoโฆ time truly flies by. iโm sure the future will be fun though (minus taxes)

Saying goodbye to it all is hard. Be sure to thank all your teachers, and keep in contact with friends over the exam and post-school period. Crying is normal, especially because it feels like it comes at you so quickly
uni seems so chill and independant
MMHS
University is an amazing time. You all have so much to look forward to. The independence, the lecturers, the subjects. The workload is bigger, but you have more time and ease to get everything done. A 1500 word essay becomes nothing after a while.
Won't be long until you'll all be on campus
Update: sobbed like a frigging baby multiple times yesterday, cosplaying was fun, danced with friends, the school gave us some gifts, dinner was pretty good and now I'm back at school today to study lol (not highly motivated atm but I've turned up and have stuff in front of me which is a start). I also got back my letter I wrote to myself at the start of year 12 camp and that made me cry. And the graduation had a video montage using an ai song a teacher made about my cochort and it was so funny but god I cried so hard.
Rey_of_sunshine hope motivation improves, and crying is also normal so iโm glad you got that all out!! best of luck with studying
FH Goodluck to you too!
There's also so much to be happy about too. Feeling sad about this hard journey is completely normal and understanding, but it's almost over. Just a few exams, and you're done with high school
BEST OF LUCK TODAY REY, YOU GOT THIS!!
(also soupsthetic if they do english )
FH thankyou so much, hope you went well too!
I've heard the exams have been very weird this year. How are you finding them in comparison to practice/past exams?
FinFin-3rdYearUni ive only had english so far which was a new study design so no real comparison for part B, the wuestions for my text in part A seemed fine but it was a pretty bland analysing argument piece imo, like there didnt feel like there was a much as there should be to analyse for an exam but idk
I see. Well, best of luck for the other exams. Fingers crossed they cover everything that you're revising for
FinFin-3rdYearUni well i donโt do biology but apparently that had content out of the scope of the study design (and as i am aware, the function of a golgi apparatus is not in the study design, let alone worth 3 marks).
the general maths exam 1 was quite easy in my opinion, only managed to get 3 questions incorrect (circled my answers in the question book and used maffsguru solutions), but a lot of people did struggle due to the tedious nature of questions.
FH Explaining the function of the golgi apparatus would probably be in the study design, and possibly covered in Unit 1 or 2, but I agree, it shouldn't be a 3 mark question. I would have expected it to be a multiple choice question, maybe
FH psych was so weird, it like wasn't entirely awful imo but so many of those questions were worded in such strange ways?
Short update:
I'm done VCE exams and I cried a bit while driving to the libary (cramming for my HES exam in Melbourne tommorow).
Mum bought me a surprise cake yesterday (I proceeded to eat 3/4 of it in one sitting... not the first time in the last month either.... oops) and I'm getting takeaway tonight. Plus tommorow night I'm going to an 18+ marvel parody show in Melbourne and having dinner + drinks with a couple friends which should be good.
I haven't broken down properly yet but it's so strange to think that when I get home and take off my uniform tonight I'll never have to put it on again.
Anyways signing off for now until I start sobbing in the library because if I keep thinking about this I will.
Thanks to everyone on here who I've met/ shared this experience with this year, you guys are awesome and I hope you're all doing well
Rey_of_sunshine I'm so glad you have finished this journey, and you're a truly amazing person!! best of luck for your hes exam tomorrow, and id love to hear about atar and tertiary offers!!
